Fabulous Christmas Table Settings

If you are still looking for ideas for your festive table, here's a few beauties for inspiration.....

One of a series of shots I did on one of the many Christmas shoots I did for Woman & home. White and silver - always a favourite - with a lovely bauble in a glass bowl and a simple sprig of silvery foliage.

An oldie but a goodie from George Home. Fur throws on the seats set the scene. Simple white china, foliage and pin lights. Lovely

I love this shot, it must have taken ages to hang all those hurricane lanterns, but they look fantastic and the foliage makes it. Garden Trading

Another one from Woman & home this time in red. Just tie up your plates with seasonal ribbon and add a star decoration.

Grey and silver this time. That twig candleholder is a stunner, and black cutlery at Christmas is a nice change. Team it with a silver napkin, a collection of baubles, star dishes and dark glassware. Debenhams

Another past shot from my Woman & home days. The purity of white always looks stunning, the ceramic feather decs are a nice touch, find some at etsy.com with a sprig of snowberries, which you can find in the hedgerows at this time of year. Mirror tiles are an easy win too, dot them down the table and they will reflect whatever is put on them.

Bronze gives a different look and warms things up. Those gold star plates are so pretty, and the dots on the glassware pick it up. A bronze leaf platter is useful for bread or sweet things, and scatter bronze leaves around. George Home

Another Woman & home setting. Start with a beaded placemat, which really sets off this traditional patterned dinner plate and that scallop edge side plate is so pretty. Add a little tea light holder and a beaded napkin ring. Those bark design candle holders are stunning aren't they? And don't forget the lights for a lovely twinkly glow
