The weather is miserable and the nights are getting darker, so indulge yourself by looking at some gorgeous home looks with that touch of glamour and luxury - and forget about what is going on outside

This range of fabrics and wallpapers is called Lusso. Luxurious satin, chenille and linen fabrics with intricate sequin detailing and metallic flashes combine for a subtle look. The silver coloured horn chandelier makes a change from the more usual brown ones and the accessories are on point

Natural materials are so on trend at the moment, and this big slab of marble is such a rich colour. Everything in this shot looks spot on, from the fabulous wallpaper - Petite Tile from the Icons collection from Cole and Son with an Art Deco feel to the dark wood cupboards, the green velvet bar stool with gold legs to the verdigris style bowls - heaven.

A glamorous bathroom is what we all yearn for, although this one is about the size of my ground floor. Again marble takes centre stage but its the gold coloured sink unit, hanging gold edge mirrors and the round bath that make this room stand out. All from C P Hart

This is great, and so reasonable! We all know radiators are ugly and want to cover them up, but there are covers - and there are COVERS! This one really ups the glam ante and they start at less than £200!

Not all luxe looks have to be expensive, this whole range is Star by Julien MacDonald at Debenhams. Make like a Hollywood star, and retire to your boudoir in a feather trimmed robe, long cigarette holder with white Bakelite phone in hand.

New interiors brand Author, offer some unique pieces in luxurious finishes including this funky lamp with bronze and copper verdigris legs and a feather and sequin shade. The Josephine dressing table is in oak and faux shagreen leather and the linen damask Helm chair has leather piping. And if you want something bespoke, they can do that too.

Isn't this wall beautiful? I want to die in a room like this......Soooo glamorous and such a clever idea. Bespoke furniture company, Hyde House have patented a hard-wearing resin that can be placed over any wallpaper to protect it, so no more fading, dirty marks, or damage - fantastic idea
