Outdoor Buildings

As we aren't moving any more but staying put, we are all looking at ways to extend our living space, and what better way than a building in the garden? It could be a home office, traditional summer house, writing hut, craft space or somewhere for the kids to go. Here are a few for inspiration.

I think this looks straight out of a 60's movie, I keep expecting a man in a sharp suit to appear smoking a cigarette. I think it might be the split slate facing stone that makes me think that. Cool isn't it? Crown Pavilions

This is my favourite - how amazing would it be to have a structure like this in your garden, or even to have a big enough garden to put it in! Everything about it is so stylish, and I love the lighting. IQ Outdoor Living

This also has a retro feel to it I think, with slabs of white and vertical slatted wood cladding, A perfect home office or summer lounge. Clear Architects

These are great....and a hit with teenagers, a geodesic, weatherproof garden igloo that can be used all year round. I don't suggest getting naked in it though...... I want the house behind.....sigh

A Place For Everything

Perfect in a corner of the garden with 2 sides that open up completely. This is set up as a bar with a tv and a barbecue, the ideal party place Express Bi Folding Doors

A traditional summer house with a great shape. A little hideaway to indulge your passion. Scotts of Thrapston

This is so cute! Shepherds huts are so popular at the moment and you can see why. I love the curved corrugated roof and little window, and this one even has a little stove in it! I could play in there for hours. Plankbridge
