My Top 10 from The Interior Design Shows

Ok, 12, but it was really hard to choose! All the interior design shows happen at the same time at this time of year so its hard getting around them all, but manfully I sacrificed myself to see what's coming up. Here's my choice of the things that stood out for me

If you are of a certain vintage you will remember that loads of people in the 60's, well parents, had the picture of the Chinese lady with the green face by Tretchikoff on their walls. Apparently he did lots of others too and now Robin Sprong has the back catalogue so you can have a fantastic mural like this! I'm very tempted.......robinsprong.com

Off to Marrakesh for this Moroccan inspired wallpaper, its so colourful and evocative. The chest of drawers is pretty gorgeous too bluebellgray.com

These cushions from Santorus remind me of the adventures of Jules Verne, great fun and a bit different. They have fashion accessories too santorus.com

Skinflint are known for their vintage, factory-style lights from places like a Czech railway stations usually, but this new range is really interesting. A bit 60's pop art and would also make a great art-style installation skinflintdesign.co.uk

Textile designer Margo Selby creates such fantastic designs, this one is part of a range for Alternative Flooring. I love the way the painting is there instead of a fireplace, clever margoselby.com alternativeflooring.com

I saw some of this pattern design at Decorex last year, but there was a lot more around this year, this fantastic selection is from Iona Crawford who also had gorgeous china too. Talented lady ionacrawford.com

More 60's style pop art in this colourful light/artwork from David Hunt Lighting davidhuntlighting.co.uk

This brand was new to me Home of My Heart, they are a small design team of 2 artists producing the most gorgeous homewares including these got-to-have lampshades. homeofmyheart.co.uk

You can't go wrong with a bit of camouflage, especially when its in hand-stitched needlepoint on a headboard! What's not to love? The map wall mural is pretty cool too huntandhope.com

I thought these glass pendants, Celestial Pebble (great name) were lovely, again, they could be a piece of art, stunning ochre.net

I have long been a fan of Mini Moderns, they have such amazing designs, this wallpaper, Art Room is a case in point minimoderns.com

More lighting, this is really unusual, a bronze oak branch chandelier with metal oak leaves and little candles from Cox London. A great piece for over a dining table coxlondon.com
